In this month’s video, I am joined by Baba Bryan Tan and Baba Raymond Wong.
Baba Bryan is the new editor of THE PERANKAN magazine. He humbly recognises that he has big shoes to fill as his predecessors had taken the magazine to great heights. He is excited about the impending digitalisation of the magazine and assures members that we will strive to publish a printed edition once every 2 years even after the magazine has gone digital. Bryan is also our Youth Outreach Advisor and he would like to call upon the young (and anyone) who is interested in the Peranakan culture to join us. Baba Raymond is the assistant honorary treasurer. He talks about TPAS’ collaboration with Design Orchard for the event “I DO – The Promise of a Lifetime: Peranakan Weddings”.
