36th Baba Nyonya International Convention, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (21 – 23 Nov 2025)
We are pleased to announce that the 36th Baba Nyonya International Convention will be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Our sister association Persatuan Peranakan Baba Nyonya Kuaka Lumpur & Selangor (PPBNKLS) is the organiser of the convention.
Organiser’s Message: The Peranakan culture stands at the crossroads of tradition and transformation. While the world evolves, our language, cuisine, attire, and customs remain the heart of our identity. This convention creates a space where Babas and Nyonyas of all ages can connect—sharing stories, passing down knowledge, and learning from one another. Through meaningful dialogue, mentorship, and cultural experiences, we honor our past while shaping a future where our heritage stays alive, relevant, and celebrated. By bridging generations, we ensure that the Peranakan spirit continues to thrive—adapting to change yet staying true to our roots.
We are pleased to offer the following package for TPAS members that includes:
* 2 nights stay at Dorsett Subang Hotel (include two breakfasts)
* full convention program and activities e.g. seminars, workshops, meals, demos, baba-zaar, and a city tour

Note:
1. Non-members will add $30 and must be accompanied by a member.
2. Please note that this is NOT a confirmation of your registration. We will notify you about your registration confirmation after we check all your details are in place and received your booking fees.
3. Once full payment has been made, please upload a screenshot of the successful transaction using the online form.
4. TRAVEL TO/FRO KUALA LUMPUR AND TRANSFERS TO/FROM HOTEL WILL NOT BE PROVIDED. PARTICIPANTS ARE TO MAKE THEIR OWN TRAVEL & TRANSFER ARRANGEMENTS.
5. TPAS is not the organiser. PPBNKLS is the organiser and responsible for providing the Convention programme.
6. TPAS will not be liable for any loss of personal property or any injury during the event.
