In the heart of our city, Be The Change presents a thought-provoking interactive theatre experience. This programme invites audiences to become active participants in shaping the outcome of four narratives (anti-models) that tackle diverse social challenges.
Led by an ensemble of actors trained in a 3-day forum theatre workshop, each scene presents dilemmas and injustices that call for resolution. The audience is enabled to intervene, question, and change the course of events, blurring the line between performer and spectator.
Be The Change aims to spark discussions on pressing social issues and inspire tangible action. As characters face adversity, the audience steps into their shoes, exploring alternative narratives and solutions. Through Forum Theatre’s unique approach, empathy is fostered, preconceptions are challenged, and real-world change is inspired.
This programme showcases Forum Theatre’s potential as a catalyst for social transformation, urging individuals and communities to reflect on their power to create a more just and equitable world. Prepare for an immersive theatrical journey where the audience becomes an integral part of the performance, unveiling the potential for positive change in our collective narrative.
